SquadCompass is operated by Travor Podolski. Privacy and data-protection enquiries may be sent to contact@squadcompass.com.

Public website

Browsing, comparison and favorites do not require a public account. Favorites and comparisons may be saved locally in your browser, separately for each data source. Previous lists are not copied automatically: importing compatible older favorites requires confirmation. Shared links contain player identifiers in their URL. Optional favorites JSON files are read in your browser, not uploaded; exported files remain on your device until you remove them.

Technical data

When you request a page, hosting and network infrastructure may process standard technical information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and security events. This processing is used to deliver and protect the service.

Privacy-friendly analytics

SquadCompass uses the existing self-hosted Umami instance at stats.squadcompass.com for aggregate page views and explicitly permitted events. Network requests may provide technical information and approximate location to the analytics server. The current renderer adds no analytics cookies or session recording. Its before-send hook removes URL queries and fragments, uses a fixed page title, reduces external referrers to their origin and excludes arbitrary event data, identify calls and player lists. Player profiles are grouped in analytics so the current integration does not send player names or identifiers as page addresses. Action events use fixed names without search terms or player-list details. Performance collection sends only numeric loading, responsiveness and layout-stability measurements (LCP, INP, CLS, FCP and TTFB), plus elapsed page time when available. It does not send DOM elements or interaction targets. Unsupported or unavailable measurements are omitted. It respects Do Not Track and the umami.disabled browser opt-out. Older records and cached pages may retain earlier collection or resource behavior until reloaded. This is not a claim that hosting logs are anonymous.

Analytics retention

This release does not introduce automatic expiry of existing analytics records. A defined retention and backup-retention period is not asserted here; automatic deletion after a fixed time is not promised. For retention or deletion enquiries contact Travor Podolski at contact@squadcompass.com.

WordPress administration

The CMS is hosted separately at cms.squadcompass.com. It is intended for authorised editors and uses essential login cookies. Public visitors do not need a CMS account.

External resources

The current renderer serves fonts and player graphics from the same origin. Its analytics script is served by the separately hosted stats.squadcompass.com service. Older cached pages may still reference earlier external resources, including Google Fonts.

Advertising

Banner areas are placeholders and no advertising tags are currently active. Before advertising is activated, this notice and the consent mechanism will be updated to identify providers, purposes, legal bases and user choices.

Your rights
